The Strays Around Us
Many dogs and cats get sent to shelters because they have never had the proper training or their owners need ideas on how to best setup their home for pets.
We offer training and access to resources to help your pets stay a loving member of the family. Please contact us before surrendering your pet to a shelter.
Dr. Ian Dunbar has some wonderful free resources at Dog Star Daily to get you started .
People find animals that have been dumped on the side of the road or even a stray that shows up at their house, but they are unable to capture them. If you need more help than your local animal control can offer, then contact us for additional resources.
If your pet is lost, we will help to bring your pet home.
There are times we see animals that are being abused, neglected, or used in illegal activities like dog or cock fighting.
People hesitate to report this out of fear of retaliation.
Now you can tell us and we will work with you to report the problem so you don't have to take the risk.
To help as many people and animals as possible, we are always looking to increase our number of collars, leashes, traps, carriers, and kennels.
If you would like to help our team, you can donate via Venmo using @animalrescueunit
This will help us obtain the resources needed to assist those who normally can't afford the help they need.
